In the morning, we will explore the area of Belém, from where the caravels left for the New World. Here we can see the Tower of Belém, on the banks of the River Tagus, and the imposing Jerónimos Monastery, both elevated to World Heritage by UNESCO and two of the “7 Wonders of Portugal” that dominate this landscape for 500 years. Next we go to one of the new places in the city, a belvedere located in one of the pillars of the iconic 25 de Abril bridge. Indulge in the incredible views from the top and see the entire coastline down to Cascais. When you go down, put the virtual reality glasses for an incredible experience as a maintenance worker. Do not look down!

We start by visiting the oldest cromlech in southern Europe, with more than 7000 years: the Almendres Cromeleque.It is 2000 years older than Stonehenge! Next, we visit Évora, a UNESCO World Heritage city, surrounded by 14th century walls. We will visit the Roman Temple and the Sé, a gothic cathedral (the largest in Portugal) that are right in the heart of the city. You will have time to stroll through the streets of Évora and get to know the local crafts before lunch.
